In this closing sequence from The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), King Richard the Lionheart, newly restored to his throne with the help of Robin, Maid Marian, and the Merry Men of Sherwood Forest, grants Robin and the Maid their most fervent wish.  This was former U.S. Representative John Dingell's favorite scene in his most favorite movie.
